Happy New Year, Reader!

I know I don’t usually send out emails like this, but I felt it was important to share a bit of my journey with you.

As an entrepreneur who took the leap to create an online business during the pandemic, it’s been quite a ride. I started this adventure not really knowing what I was doing or where I was headed, and 2024 has brought a whirlwind of emotions.

This past year has been challenging—I found myself anxious about the future and worried about our team’s stability. If you’re not familiar with our story, many of our team members lost their jobs during the pandemic, and we brought them on board, training them with the skills I’ve picked up over the years as a virtual assistant.

While our sales were down compared to 2023, we gained something invaluable: TIME.

Time to rest, to travel, to cherish moments with family, and to dream about what’s next. We took this opportunity to slow down and really refine our systems across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finances, and People. I’ll admit, when we first started out, we were a bit all over the place, trying to get our clients’ businesses organized while navigating our own.

Now, thanks to the slower pace of 2024, I feel much more equipped to tackle what lies ahead with the systems we’ve put in place.

Looking ahead to 2025, my focus is clear: honing in on what truly matters. I’m postponing all my travels until 2026 to dedicate more time to my work. I know burnout can sneak up on us, but I’m more committed than ever to this journey.
