Hi Reader,

To be completely honest, I wondered if the role of a leader was truly meant for me. I didn't know I would be able to do it, let alone wing it. lol

But one of the biggest blessings of the digital marketing industry is being able to partner with diverse, amazing leaders in various fields of expertise. That, and my decade-long experience ultimately gave me the courage to realize this lightbulb moment: that OMG, yes—

You can definitely build your own brand of leadership.

I desire to cultivate a work environment founded on love where my team stays passionate about what we do and excels in it, not out of fear of punishment, as I once experienced.

Most importantly, I aim to create a safe space where work-life balance is the standard, and vulnerability is embraced, mirroring the grace that God extends to all of us.

My leadership style might not resonate with everyone. But when I look at my team, I’m honored to say it works! That alone is enough to keep me going.

But receiving the Outstanding Leadership Award at the recent Internet 2.0 Conference in Dubai somehow backs that up, and how much it speaks to the faith that others have placed in my leadership.

For this, I am truly grateful.

And so I view this award as a reflection and celebration of the collective effort and commitment of our entire team, partners, and clients. 💗🙏🏻
