Embrace Ease FridaysHi Reader, Look what I found in some of the notes that I made ~10 years ago LOL— Baby me had no idea that she'd be moving to a bigger city at the age of 18. Anxious, confused, homesick baby me had to go out of her comfort zone...She knew she had to grow up fast. So she went far away not to study, but to make her own living so she could finally help out with the bills... and most importantly, in doing so, she can have her mom back home. After much-needed adjustments both professionally and personally, she was able to learn the works in the BPO industry, all while also learning to live on her own. She felt good that she was earning and finally contributing to her family's expenses... she was also able to finally save up for her college tuition. Surprisingly (a very happy one!), after a few broken relationships, she’d get married with a friend from grade school whom she'll have 2 sweet daughters with...She'd be making a home with her husband, but also unfortunately, a home that's late on rent almost every month... Needless to say, she'd thought as though life has more downs than ups, and even more convinced that her life will always feel dark and hopeless. But for her to come out of that place, all she needed to do was this: take the baby steps. To cut it short, baby me took wayyyy more than a few baby steps, but I'm sure she's glad—relieved even—that she took them because she'd come out stronger and braver than she and I could ever imagine. And if there's a moral to this baby girl's story, it's that: Life will surprise you in the worst possible ways.Don’t get stuck in your misery. Keep moving forward. Life will surprise you in the best possible ways.Don’t get complacent in your triumphs. Keep moving forward. Baby me would probably drop her jaw, but would also probably work as hard had she known that she'd finally get to these brighter days: going to Disneyland with her little fam and inspiring others who yearn to succeed in this industry... Talk about life in full circle...but in a much better, brighter place...So, wherever you are in life, and even if at the moment you're feeling trapped, I want you to know that the smallest, tiniest step you decide to take creates a BIG difference... It's all up to you. Reader's NookWe'd love to feature you in our Reader's Nook! I'd like to get to know you better so I can vibe with you even closer! Reader, One thing you can work on in the first quarter of 2025 is your website. As a small business owner, why does auditing your website matter? A website audit is like giving your website a thorough checkup. It involves assessing every detail of your website to ensure it's performing at its best — representing your business professionally, connecting with your audience authentically, and effectively guiding your visitors toward becoming paying clients. Just like a physical checkup for your...
Hey there, Happy New Year, Reader! I know I don’t usually send out emails like this, but I felt it was important to share a bit of my journey with you. As an entrepreneur who took the leap to create an online business during the pandemic, it’s been quite a ride. I started this adventure not really knowing what I was doing or where I was headed, and 2024 has brought a whirlwind of emotions. This past year has been challenging—I found myself anxious about the future and worried about our team’s...
Hi Reader, It's Christy again, and I just wanted to drop by and give a simple ✨thank you✨ for everything you do! I'm pretty sure, like me, you've probably been sooo relentlessly busy, too—too busy, in fact, in doing everything and giving all your best to empower others with what you do. Of course, nobody's complaining, but it is also undeniable that sometimes, everything just feels overwhelming, too. If you know me, you'd know how I'm on this constant quest to embrace ease in every aspect,...
