Embrace Ease Fridays

Hey there,

Almost a month down, and the fire to make this YOUR year is burning just as bright, right? I can feel it!

From both personal and professional experience, it's one thing to choose which goals you want to achieve, but it's an entirely different story about how we make sure we'll be able to tick those goals off our checklist!

So, how do we make sure we are indeed propelled closer to those goals? Where do we start? How do we snag the treasure that's truly ours?

Now, take a deep breath with me and reimagine the way you set goals.

Last time, we talked about aiming to create SMART-er goals, and I wanted to talk more about how we can do just that for you. Let's start SMART:

  • Chart Your Course: Forget the one-size-fits-all approach. What lights you up? Which skills do you want to explore? Jot down your desires, your dreams, your deepest “heck yeahs!”
  • SMARTen Up: Once you have your list, it’s time to refine them into SMART goals. Yes, that's right: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound, so you can keep focused and on track.
  • Break it Down, Brick by Brick: Okay, let's pause. Try not to get overwhelmed. Now, divide your goals into smaller, actionable steps. Think bite-sized pieces of your favorite cake, not the whole thing in one sitting.
  • Embrace the Process: Take it all in and enjoy—the learning, the stumbles, the unexpected detours. They’re all part of every beautiful and truly legit success.
  • Don’t Be Afraid to Adjust: Of course, now and then, life throws curveballs, and that’s alright! Be flexible and don’t be afraid to course-correct. Sometimes, the best views come from the detours.
  • Remember, You’ve Got This: Yes, YOU are capable of amazing things. Believe in yourself, trust your instincts, and never give up on your dreams. The world needs your unique light, so go shine it bright!
  • It's OK to SOS: The superhuman that you are also super deserve personal time for whatever it is that makes you still YOU. That's why you need the right tools that will keep your business growing while you get that long overdue and well-earned weeklong getaway!

And while you're at it, don't forget to savor and embrace ease while your in this business. I'd also want to share the tools that have helped me scale my business:

The Art of Rest:

Faith to Hit Pause in a World that Never Stops

by Adam Mabry

I'm reading this book because I don't do rest. I do do. If I can learn to stop, so can you. And if I need to learn to stop, then so do you because God taught me how to rest.

Anything Goes!

Did you know when my husband and I started our company All Out Virtual LLC?

During the pandemic! Not the most ideal time but I'm so grateful to my Co-Founder husband and team for weathering that storm with me. Couldn't have done it without them.

Also...as you may have know from one of our previous newsletters, I've been cooking up this something for awhile now...and I wanted to ask, what do you think about this podcast artwork?

I would love to get a feedback from you. :)

'Til next Friday...

XO,

Christy 💗

Website Audit

Reader, One thing you can work on in the first quarter of 2025 is your website. As a small business owner, why does auditing your website matter? A website audit is like giving your website a thorough checkup. It involves assessing every detail of your website to ensure it's performing at its best — representing your business professionally, connecting with your audience authentically, and effectively guiding your visitors toward becoming paying clients. Just like a physical checkup for your...

Hey there, Happy New Year, Reader! I know I don’t usually send out emails like this, but I felt it was important to share a bit of my journey with you. As an entrepreneur who took the leap to create an online business during the pandemic, it’s been quite a ride. I started this adventure not really knowing what I was doing or where I was headed, and 2024 has brought a whirlwind of emotions. This past year has been challenging—I found myself anxious about the future and worried about our team’s...

Hi Reader, It's Christy again, and I just wanted to drop by and give a simple ✨thank you✨ for everything you do! I'm pretty sure, like me, you've probably been sooo relentlessly busy, too—too busy, in fact, in doing everything and giving all your best to empower others with what you do. Of course, nobody's complaining, but it is also undeniable that sometimes, everything just feels overwhelming, too. If you know me, you'd know how I'm on this constant quest to embrace ease in every aspect,...
